Meet Felicia & Russ. They are the cool kids who call the mountains of Colorado home but haven’t forgotten their Massachusetts roots. I just adore this couple. Felicia booked me after a few emails and a chat on the phone but we did get to meet once prior to her big day. I had no idea that she could double as a supermodel. I met Russ on the big day. He reminds me of my younger brother…my favorite brother. Adorable.

Their ceremony & wedding were both hosted at the Wychmere Beach Club in Harwich on Cape Cod. We got a perfect-for-beach-photos overcast day. Just clouds. No rain!! The bridal party will kill me if I don’t mention that it was a tad chilly on the beach and everybody sucked it up. Go kick!@* bridal party.
P.S.Can we talk about the wedding dress for a second? Felicia had a seamstress add all the sparkle and bling by hand. Gorgeous and unique.
P.S.S. Special thanks to the brides dad who celebrated his daughter’s wedding from heaven. I know that he made sure he rain stayed away!

Who says you can’t meet the love of your life at a bar. True story.

It’s in the single digits here in Boston today so I thought I would heat things up a bit with Jess & Jon’s August wedding. Greek boy + NH girl= country themed wedding with a dance floor covered in dollar bills.
This gorgeous wedding was made possible by so many people including the bride who is a talents graphic designer. She thought of every detail. LOVE the splashes of yellow and green.
Jess & Jon had a traditional Greek ceremony followed by a dance your face off reception at the one and only Bedford Village Inn. The dance floor at this wedding was VERY busy….reason number 389 why I love me a Greek wedding.
Jess & Jon spent their honeymoon discovering both Paris & Nice for 2 whole weeks. They are cools kids and are always traveling to fun places and eating yummy foodie food…how do I know this you ask? We are friends on Facebook and I live vicariously through their posts.

Dear sweet blog, I do love you …I promise. I’ve just been so very,very busy. Fall and winter blend together around these parts. I have so many gorgeous weddings to brag about..a VT farm wedding, a Boston Aquarium wedding, my new BFF’s wedding (yes Meghan I’m talking about you,) two Greek weddings,a Cape Cod wedding,a Back Bay wedding and a cowboy boots filled wedding. After another wonderful season it is about that time to shut down the computers and hard drives, set up the vacation responder and spend quality time with family,pups and friends. All orders have been placed and will be in Santa’s hands in time for the holiday.

Taking a break from shooting,processing images,meetings,eating Halloween candy, listening to the same pod casts over and over again to say hello and announce that the blog and I are still alive. This fall has been wonderfully over-the-top busy. Every year at this time I think that I’ll have time to take a few days off and go apple picking,bake pies and enjoy the foliage but the reality is fall means 12 hours days and dinners in front of the computer at the studio. Yummy dinners in front of the computer. You see I’m spoiled. My husband brings me delicious home cooked meals. I’m bragging so I’ll stop.

If you follow my blog you know that I work hard but I also play hard. I love love being busy. My personally is suited for the challenge of organizing, planning, scheduling…I’m a weirdo like that I guess.

I do have a ton of work to showcase on the blog but this time of year my focus is getting my images to my clients in a timely manner THEN I give some love to the blog.

I love October because Halloween is my favorite holiday. I already have Ernie’s costume…it’ a surprise. Last year he was Bat Dog, the year before that we was a hockey player, the year before that he was a lobster and the year before that he was a fire fighter.
Anyway, I feel like this wedding season is flying by. Five more fabulous weddings left in my season…can’t wait!!
In other news….
My October portrait calendar is filling up. I schedule portrait sessions into November but if you are looking for warmer weather or colorful leaves on trees book your session before mid-November. Weekend sessions are the first to be booked and I always have weekday availability for you flexible folks.
Starting next month I’m no longer offering online galleries with my portrait sessions. I’m thrilled to finally offer in studio print ordering services complete with projection and snacks. I’ll be blogging about this in detail in the next coming weeks. So fun!! It’s been a year in the making researching equipment, investing in presentation software etc. So fun to see images come to life in the form of canvas,framed prints with the click of a button.
Because we know how fast days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months…this is the part of the post where I talk about deadlines!!
The studio will be closed:
November 27th-Dec 1st- Thanksgiving. I’m hosting this year…wish me luck.
Dec 18th-  Jan 3rd – Xmas & New Years
